Chairing house meetings at units to include young people and obtain their perspectives and establish their individual needs.Being a key part of the decision making process when attending Looked After Child reviews on a half yearly basis to discuss progress and options for the future.Writing up to date and relevant key working and monthly reports that are required to be emailed to social workers. Keeping files of each young person up to date with new information as well as writing risk assessments, support plans and missing from care packs.

Working with multi-disciplinary agencies within the school setting to create bespoke physiotherapy programmes for individual students and then working on them with the pupil on a weekly basis to encourage strength and movement in joints and muscles. Running main pool sessions for more able special needs students. Encouraging participation in competitive games and sports within the water as well as life guarding when there is free time at the end of the lessons. Written accurate and up-to-date termly swimming reports for all students who come to the pool, and completed ASDAN qualifications for students leaving in the summer term.
