Key technical skills: Java, Python, C++, Data Structures, Algorithms, SQLiteThe first coding project I received was in high school during a beginner-level C++ class. I had to program a little lost penguin to run through a maze with only if/else statements. Even though it was a super simple task looking back, I remember being completely amazed at how I was able to control and create a solution for this tiny penguin who kept running into walls prior. From an early age, I'd always loved being surrounded by video games and this was my first taste of being a part of the development aspect. I knew from then that I wanted to delve deeper behind the creation of video games. Since the schools I went to didn't offer any classes on game development, I first focused on the basics of software development, taking multiple classes on programming, languages, and algorithms.
