The Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP) is the independent statutory authority responsible for preparing and conducting criminal prosecutions in Victoria on behalf of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP)I am responsible for business planning, project management, accountability and budget reporting for the Proceeds of Crime directorate of the OPP. Specifically I am responsible for overseeing and reporting on the implementation of Victorian Auditor General’s Office recommendations, including the development of a Proceeds of Crime performance framework, implementing quality assurance processes around data and databases and developing strategic and operational plans linked to those of the Victorian Assets Confiscation Scheme. I chair and minute Proceeds of Crime Implementation Committee meetings and offline project meetings that contribute to successful implementation of Proceeds of Crime projects. I ensure that all project governance is to a high standard, including appropriate documentation and capturing of decisions. I closely monitor project budgets providing forecasts to ensure that they are utilized appropriately and within required timeframes. I assess and validate current and proposed Proceeds of Crime performance measures and develop and embed data to inform operational management decisions, business planning and strategic planning as well as addressing the needs of the Victorian Budget Expenditure Review Committee and the Victorian Auditor General’s Office.I provide input into the development of the OPP’s database systems in relation to Proceeds of Crime specific modules ensuring integration of reporting measures, and facilitate communication with others across the Asset Confiscation Scheme for data sharing purposes.
