CurrentThe Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP) is the independent statutory authority responsible for preparing and conducting criminal prosecutions in Victoria on behalf of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP)My responsibilities include;- Develop, manage and/or assist in the management of legal and corporate projects including the provision of project assistance and support to the OPP Executive. - Prepare well researched and accurate briefings, reports, plans and business case documents, on legal and corporate subjects, in clear and concise form.- Provide accurate and detailed research and advice in respect of legal compliance, corporate governance, contract and risk management, procurement, OHS and general workplace issues. - Assist in the development, production and monitoring of the OPP strategic, business and other corporate plans. Some achievements/activities to date-Facilitated an OPP Strategic Planning Review Workshop for the OPP Senior Executive for the period 2015-2017.-Developed all OPP Corporate and Legal Directorate and Section Business Plans aligning activities and objectives to the OPP Strategic Plan.-Completed a review of the OPP’s Risk Management Framework-Completed a review of the OPP's Early Resolutions Advocacy Unit.-Completed a review of the OPP's Witness Assistance Service -Developed a Performance Framework for the OPP’s Proceeds of Crime Directorate, detailing performance metrics and KPI’s.-Developed file audit quality assurance policy, procedure and assessment tools for the Proceeds of Crime Directorate.
