- In 1989, a plastic containers manufacturer ask us to develop a food products filling machine for their newly introduce tamper evident square containers. First request was to develop a motorized closing tool because these containers were hard to close. At the same time, use mostly for food industry, we introduce a spring-loaded air evacuating wheel to push on the lid while closing to make sure to get a concave looking lid.- Next step was to develop a lid and tub distributor mounted on an indexing chain conveyor. This new filling line capable of handling round, square and oval shape containers is simple and easy to use and maintain. Tooling changeover takes less than 15 minutes. With the right thick products depositor, one can fill and close up to 60 one- pound containers per minute.- Due to its speed, ease of use and more importantly its flexibility, this machine our FDS2500 model, became a GAME CHANGER in the food industry. We already sold more than one hundred units and one of our customers in the prepared salads business has fourteen units.- That same customer also bought an equal number of our volumetric piston depositors for chunky products, our model DV2000. This one having a 4-inch inlet port is unbeatable for product integrity.- Our next step was to develop a plastic film sealing unit with the same flexibility to be installed on our indexing conveyor. HPP compatible seal strength, up to 45 containers per minute on a single lane machine. It can also be used to do MAP at about 30 containers per minute. - Nowadays, we sell many different depositors to work with our single or multi-lane-filling lines on which we can also fill and close clamshell containers.- Finally, we develop lately a very special depositor capable of pumping non-air-tight products like sauerkraut, grain and legumes base prepared salads, etc. This DVP1000D model can also be used to fill raw vegetables base prepared salads which like the previous ones, are mostly fill by hand.
