Additionally, she serves on the Uganda Youth Sounding Board for the MFA of Denmark in Uganda (The Royal Danish Embassy in Uganda). She is a member of the CYGEN, GYBN and various international networks working towards youth participation and gender issues.As a medical doctor, Gafidyn's mental acuity navigates complex problem-solving, focusing on assisting others and promoting learning. Her impactful work with Rhiza Collective and Fire that Fuels Uganda, in partnership with New York University, contributes to mental health interventions for Human Rights Defenders and LGBTQI individuals in Uganda and around the world.
