Responsibilities• Delivery of $1.8 billion Suburban Roads Upgrade - Western Package under a Public Private Partnership funding model on extensive brownfield sites • Delivery of 8 major road upgrades including road structures and rail bridges • Leading, managing, motivating and developing 10 staff members over a range of projects with competing timeframes to successfully deliver team program • Leading project activities such as project scoping, design investigation and development, obtaining approvals, stakeholder engagement and liaison, risk management, the preparation of cost and time estimates and project management • Negotiating with and influencing key stakeholders to build strong relationships to progress major works during planning, pre-construction and delivery phases • Development of policy, scope and contractual requirements Key Achievements • Leading the design reviews for The State from preliminary design to issue for construction• Assessment of complex technical proposals from each respondent and award of contract to Netflow• Obtaining cultural and environmental approvals for $1.8 billion WRU project through difficult negotiations with stakeholders• Stakeholder management for efficient progression of land acquisition process • Development of Project Scope and Technical Requirements document where defined policy, procedures and precedents did not always exist

Responsibilities• Management of VicRoads geotechnical assets worth $7.7 billion• Managing up to 15 staff members and contractors at any given time• Updating technical documentation to align with industry specifications and VicRoads’ requirements• Attending design workshops for major projects and tender reviews• Project management of large-scale projects from initial scoping to final delivery whilst identifying innovative solutions to effectively achieve project outcomes• Influencing clients and stakeholders to develop a range of options for complex technical solutions to meet client needs and assist in effective decision making• Design of geotechnical structures including retaining walls and foundations• Geotechnical investigations for tunnels and structures Key Achievements• Delivery of geotechnical investigation for the East-West Link Tunnel, Dingley Bypass and Western High Duplication projects ahead of schedule allowing timely release of tender documents and review • Received a VicRoads Outstanding Performer Award for the emergency• management works during flooding events in the South Western Region• Delivery of complex geotechnical investigation for Burke Road Level Crossing• Removal Project, ongoing design reviews, coordination workshops and• technical advice• Methodical and proactive training of new staff and graduates through a combination of technical and practical activities to enable comprehensive knowledge sharing and capability development• Complete review and rewrite of VicRoads safe operating procedures

Responsibilities• Development and administration of all pre-construction activities and reports for Princes Highway West Duplication project from Waurn Ponds to Winchelsea• Liaison with stakeholders, VicRoads property services and property owners to successfully acquire, survey, declare and fence land• Development and rationalisation of risk-based engineering estimates and contracts• Site based surveillance to assess OH&S standards, environmental management procedures and traffic management plans• Development and administration of maintenance contracts for sprayed seals, asphalt maintenance, line marking, water retexturing and crack sealingKey Achievements• Successful analysis of tender bids and award of contract before scheduled deadlines• Successful specification writing of tender documents for advertising and award prior to advertised deadlines• Creation of a surveillance schedule to better assist surveillance managers and team members in prioritising multiple construction worksites which enabled effective surveillance of worksites and contractors• Immediate and effective response to ministerial briefs (MiBS) and stakeholder management enabling ministers to take required course of action in due time
