Reconcile accounts, receivables and payables to records* Assist staff by preparing, verifying and reconciling various reports and registers* Enter transactions relating to revenues, expenditures, receipts, accounts receivable, accounts payable,fund transfers and other accounting transactions. Review, correct and adjust such entries* Verify and balance credit card transactions and prepare for payment* Record and reconcile capital equipment transactions* Coordinate yearend closing activities* Enter purchase orders and follow through receiving and final payment* Manage facilities contracts for compliance and ensure billing is correct* Coordinate budget timeline, provide current and past figures for analysis and input data* Work with vendors for all required paperwork

Receive and review invoices and check requisitions for accuracy* Prepare and process invoices for payment utilizing ACH, EFT, checks and credit card* Communicate with departments and vendors to obtain invoices and receiving reports* Contact vendors to enlist them in different payment options* Enter invoice data in H.T.E. and prepare for check run process* Run reports for each pay method and process payments* Run checks and verify information to be mailed* Backup Accounting Clerk position when necessary, this includes entering Journal Vouchers, CashReceipts, Petty Cash and Travel.* Assist payroll with verification of list

School Board of Brevard County; Perform bookkeeping functions of internal accounts, school budget, accounts payable and petty cash* Type and process purchase orders* Meet with teachers to instruct on record keeping for auditing purposes* Record deposits and withdrawls, money from fund raisers, clubs and field trips, prepare cash for bankdeposits, receive and disperse monies from various internal accounts, handle budget transfers* Prepare taxes annually* Perform secretarial duties as required
