• Working in a busy office environment I was responsible for the processing of customer orders from receipt to despatch. Overseeing a small administration team I introduced new processes to ensure all stages of the order.
• Sales – responding to customer enquiries via telephone, emails and face to face, taking orders and providing advice and quotations.
• Customer Service - investigating any complaints received and resolving matters to the satisfaction of all parties.
• Accounts Payable – checking supplier invoices, querying irregularities and meeting payment deadlines.
• Customer Accounts – handling customer payments and monitoring overdue accounts, taking appropriate action to ensure a payment is received.
• Marketing – attending monthly meetings to discuss and generate new products and promotion strategies.

• I was responsible for coordinating and supporting the Society’s Employee Engagement activities. I worked to deadlines, ensuring that project objectives were met and that the highest standard of customer service was.
• Scheduling and attending Colleague Focus Group meetings.
• Working with external partners in the coordination of benchmarking projects such as Investors in People (IiP) and employee surveys.
• Organising Society events and conferences.
• Regular use of spreadsheets, databases, Word and PowerPoint applications to prepare suitable documents for both management and colleague use.
• Arranging meetings and attending as secretary, contributing to discussions and producing minutes.
