I’m eager to become a valued, productive member of a stop-motion puppet, costume or set fabrication department. As a 2021 summa cum laude BFA Art Practices graduate of PSU I’ve used a wide variety of materials and techniques common in stop-motion fabrication for my own senior thesis, which included numerous puppets and sets. I've also completed a Mini-Costume for Stop-Motion Puppets class, taught by former LAIKA lead costumer Annika Schindler (website - puppets). Having shot stop-motion animation myself, I understand the importance of creations that are camera-friendly, immaculately detailed, and well-suited for ease of animation. My engineering background gives me a clear understanding of the need for completing projects on schedule, with accurate documentation, while supporting the needs of a team in a professional, friendly and capable manner.
