I have a pretty interesting skillset that makes me somewhat of a unicorn: I'm great at designing learning experiences in an evidence-informed way, I have a computer science background, I've been a developer, I've taught many different audiences in all kinds of settings, and I have published academic research in computer science and education.All in all, I have about 15 years of experience with technical and computing education, and I've loved every minute of it.I am currently a Principal Instructional Engineer at Splunk working on the Engineering Enablement and Engagement team.I was previously Senior Technical Learning Designer at Shopify, where I led the design and launch of the groundbreaking Bachelor of Computer Science partnership between Shopify and Carleton University. Now called Dev Degree, the program has since expanded to York University in Toronto and Dominican College in the US.
