Gail’s initial employment was as a vacation employee in the audit division of Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC). Upon graduation from the University of New South Wales in 1982 Gail was offered a full-time position in Coopers & Lybrand’s audit division. After two years audit experience, during which time she developed a broad base of practical audit experience, she transferred to their Computer Audit Division.In January 1986 Gail joined KMG Hungerfords (now KPMG) to manage their Microcomputer Consultancy Division. October 1988 saw Gail resign from Peat Marwick Hungerfords to form CST Microlab Pty Limited, a company aimed to provide quality microcomputer consulting services to its strong client base in all areas to industry and commerce.Ever sensitive to market changes saw a change in focus in 1996 with shift to servicing larger national and multinational companies via a contract based relationship After 2 earlier contracts in 2000 and 2001, Gail returned to IBM in April 2005, where she is was involved in the deployment of their internal Sarbarnes Oxley solution (KCFR/KCO) across the business in Australia and New Zealand. In September became a full time employee of IBM and moved into the Asset Management area of their services Business Unit driving process improvement and change. Gail currently manages a team of approx 100 staff across Australia New Zealand and China responsible for service delivery of order, hardware management, software tracking and license management, maintenance and end of life of IT assets against the customer contract and internal policy requirements,
