Project Highlights Was responsible for supporting Con-way Menlo operations PowerBuilder inventory application for the Comcast project. A combination of Powerbuilder and Websphere java development in support of inventory application. Added new capabilities to both main applications for allowing Comcast to interact with Con-way's inventory system. Used combination of Powerbuilder, SQL Server stored procedures and triggers to provide capabilities for Comcast's requirments.. Java coding to incorporate use of USPS address validation to all incoming shipment requests. Added ability to kit Comcast DVR/modems and scan serial numbers for changing component products into kits.

Started as an external consultant to Gas Transmission Northwest in Portland. Provided Powerbuilder expertise to the company. The company was acquired by TransCanada and it was eventually moved to Houston Texas in August 2010. Became proficient in SQL Server as the back end database. Assisted an external consulting firm to provide .NET programming when called.

Project Highlights This technical professional was responsible for supporting five PowerBuilder applications to end-of-life. He helped to bring on-line new replacement applications written in .Net using VisualStudio IDE. He had some experience developing and testing Electronic Data Interchange solutions using Microsoft BizTalk. He also maintained current Mercator EDI solutions to end-of-life. Other responsibilities included modifying PowerBuilder applications to fix bugs and make changes when new procedures needed to be incorporated.
