Ever since I was young I was fascinated with puzzles, all kinds of puzzles. I loved word puzzles, math puzzles, logic puzzles, shape puzzles, it didn’t matter. I would spend hours on these puzzles, never giving up until I arrived at the answer. The payoff was the feeling of satisfaction in working with the many puzzle pieces to find the one solution.In my extensive experience as a professional commercial real estate appraiser, I use many of these same puzzle-solving skills. All the puzzle pieces of a property are there, but it takes a professional to put these pieces together to arrive at the best solution. I hold the MAI membership designation and have over 20 years of experience performing professional commercial real estate appraisals for litigation support. My experience includes appraisals, appraisal reviews, and consultation dealing with subject properties representing a wide range of property sectors. I have extensive experience with fee simple, leased fee, and leasehold estates; condemnation projects; partial interests (.e.g. fractional ownership, air-rights, subsurface/minerals rights, etc.); special use properties; easements; retrospective and prospective valuations; and subdivision developments.My appraisal work experience is largely for litigation support and has covered a wide range of property types including: industrial (light and heavy uses); food processing facilities; flex warehouse; corporate office campuses; multi-tenant office buildings; regional malls; retail power centers; C-stores; gasoline stations, big-box retails; vacant land, and residential.
