Haskell, Nix, and perfection in CI are the quickest words to describe the role. This tooling is used for both Obsidian products and completing client projects in less than 10 weeks. I have worked as a full stack developer on four projects: Nervos Force Bridge (crypto client), Obelisk (tool for full-stack web development in haskell and reflex), a trip-planning app using the kuro blockchain, and Smithy which is a CI tool built in Nix and Haskell for fast builds and efficient binary distribution. In my time at Obsidian I've been able to make an impact by implementing the core logic for validating a cross-chain transaction, fix major bugs in Obelisk that had broke deployment of Obelisk projects to AWS and Digital Ocean servers, providing advice to a client that caused a big change in direction for the architecture of the travel planning application, and the opportunity to work directly with Obsidian founders on improving the security of Smithy.

E-calmmerce started as a project for my parents so that I could help them, two lifelong entrepreneurs, retire. The goal of the system is to make the E-commerce entrepreneur able to sleep in and wake up to less than a hour of work while revenues continue to grow through increased quantities and more products carried.
