- Established and lead DAI’s Center for Digital Acceleration’s cybersecurity portfolio by securing DAI’s first and second cybersecurity capacity building contracts, totaling $73 million, by evaluating the cybersecurity landscape of specific countries through open-intelligence research and key informant interviews with government, private sector, civil society and academic stakeholders.- Designed and applied a user-centered research methodology to gather insights on the interplay between digital access and perceptions of trust and privacy amongst urban youth in India and Ghana. The research culminated in the publication of a research paper that illuminated how perceptions of offline risk influence online engagements. - Structure client initiatives on privacy, cybersecurity and digital technology ecosystems through the delivery of policy memos and investment opportunity mapping. The deliverables are informed by primary and secondary research and data analysis. - Develop and manage the technical strategy to identify, pursue, and secure new business or partnership opportunities by effectively analyzing the market and developing strategic relationships with influential actors, including the U.S. Department of State, Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, and the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise. - Design programs to enable countries to take advantage of technology by assessing their cybersecurity, privacy, and emerging technology ecosystems by conducting in-depth research on government policies, digital infrastructure, education, and geo-political influencers across Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and South Asia.- Contribute to the implementation of USAID’s Digital Connectivity and Cybersecurity Partnership activities across the Indo-Pacific, for instance by conducting extensive research on cross-border privacy regulations that led to the development of a U.S. government action plan.
