Manages the daily operations of the laboratories. Ensures that all Test meet regulatory commitments and QA/QC requirements. Help troubleshoot instruments, validate data, analyze samples, manage and ensure regular and required activities are accomplished.Ensures proper QA/QC procedure are followed and documented, Conducts daily meeting on job briefs for backlog execution. Ensures proper handling and ordering of instrumentation, chemicals and consumables without affecting production.Assign & schedules work, monitoring completion, provide direction based on goals, deliverables and sample backlogs. • Record, compile, and analyze analytical results as per different test methods. Worked in strict compliance with QA/QC policies related to EPA, NELAC, NLLAP, DOD-ELAP, AIHA, etc.• Responsible for performing routine test on ICPMS, ICP and CVAA Mercury Analyzer on different matrices for metals and mercury including Digestion of sample for different parameters.• Develop new analytical methods as per project requirement , calibrating instrument and Troubleshooting instrument problems. Perform instrument preventative maintenance, keep instrument usage logs, and oversee all quality Assurance activities as needed.• Performed extensive analyses in adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Develop new Standard operating procedures and revised existing ones.• supervise metals department and help technicians and analytical chemists with day to day problems.• conduct ongoing training on traceability, In-house audit. prepare and assign in-house proficiency test . validate analyzed results.• Able to run all basic wet chemistry test, chlorine, Ph, cyanide, flash point, BTU, BOD, Ignitability, All test related to solid (TSS, VSS.MLSS, VSS, TS, %Moisture, Ash etc) Toxicity characteristic Leaching procedure (TCLP), SPLP, Oil and Grease.
