Lead managed Content and Marketing Operations for India, before the company got acquired by Pandora

- Brought in a strong marketing and consumer orientation into radio programming across the region- Was directly responsible for Programming (Content and Operations) for 9 radio stations in South India; managed an 80 member team - Led negotiations and executed complex licensing agreements with music labels across the region - Worked closely with revenue teams to maximise monetising opportunities through content integration- Was chiefly responsible for planning and executing the ‘Mirchi Music Awards - South’ (India’s only excellence awards for the Music Industry) as a successful TV property and as an industry initiative- Worked closely with the music, film and television industries across South India to consolidate Radio Mirchi’s position as the most preferred partner

- Was directly responsible for strategy and planning as well as for for operations including revenue management, marketing and legal contracts of all film projects- Successfully co-produced, marketed and monetised Being Cyrus (English) and Vellithirai (Tamil); developed and co-produced Manjadikuru (Malayalam)- Played a key role in content creation for Filmfare Awards (South), working with group company TIML

- Was part of the core marketing team (film sound tracks and non-film albums). Involved planning and execution of marketing campaigns for production houses like Dharma Productions, Aamir Khan Productions and Excel Entertainment - Headed the A&R (Artistes and Repertoire) arm for three years. Involved licensing, producing and managing original non-soundtrack music content. Worked closely with leading Indian music artistes like Gulzar, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, KK, Shreya Ghoshal, Javed Akhtar, Strings, etc. - Pioneered the now widely accepted industry practice of cross-licensing content across multiple record labels for compilation albums - Initiated and successfully lead managed the licensing and publishing of curated sports content (including India at ICC World Cup 2003, and India’s cricket tour of Australia in 2003-04) on home video format- Lead managed music acquisition and management in Tamil language which involved working closely with A.R. Rahman and Madras Talkies

- Primarily worked on ITC Agrotech (Sundrop Edible Oil, Act II Pop Corn, Healthy World Wheat Flour), Nerolac Paints and Mahindra Utility Vehicles- Lead managed two extensive consumer research studies - ‘Food Mood India’ and ‘Advertising Effectiveness in ICC Cricket World Cup 1999’
