I was the Pre-opening Purchase Manager till 27th July and hotel successfully opened in February, 2018.

Responsible for group procurement activities of Kerzner International. Working closely with all brands of Kerzner International such as Atlantis, One & Only and Mazagan. My main role is to make sure the compliance of Policies & Procedures set by the Management.

Reporting to: Director of Procurement Responsible for working closely with the selected supplier and managing the companies’ procurement activities. Also providing leadership for the purchasing department and motivating staff to achieve maximum performance and efficiency. Making sure that the purchasing department works within all of the companies Operational Procedures.Duties : Assisting the Director of Procurement in all day-to-day activities. Handling Purchase Requests which include obtaining quotes from vendors and deciding upon the right product with the right price. Controlling all Capex and OS & E Purchase Orders & the budget in terms of spent Working out contract and negotiation of prices with the various suppliers and market survey. Coordinating with various departments regarding their purchase requirements. Preparation of confidential reports, documentation and other correspondence. Maintaining relationships with a wide range of people, both internal as well as external. Category Management and price agreement for all regularly ordered items and its renewal thru’ online bidding. This process helped us to reduce inventory and became supplier managed inventory. Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance (VRM) Maintenance of all documents in PeopleSoft & coordination for all audit queries Finding training needs in the department & assisting Director of procurement in presentation preparation, also conducting training classes independently. Preparation of various monthly reports, quarterly reports and yearly reports Coordination and implementation all new ideas and ensuring its follow up Delegating projects and tasks to junior staff. Coordination in all group procurement activities and assistance in providing quotes and better pricing to other properties (One & Only Royal Mirage Dubai, Maldives & Mauritius)

Worked in a centralized purchasing system of all 3 Hyatt properties in Dubai.Procurement of all Non-Food purchases related to Grand Hyatt Dubai, Grand Residence, Staff Accommodation, Grand Cinema and all consolidated nature of requirements of Hyatt hotels in Dubai.The job includes constantly liaison with vendors, meeting with the User Depts., understanding their requirements and procuring at the best possible price.Constantly involved in vendor development, better quality of all non-inventory/inventory related product in all the three properties of Hyatt Hotels in Dubai.Coordinating price variation and supply chain related concerns for all three properties of Hyatt in Dubai.Coordinating all Non F & B related imports for all three properties in Dubai, including consolidation of requirement, purchase, clearance procedures and final distribution to end users.Identified all the regularly ordered items and Price agreement. This helped us to avoid delay in processing the orders by taking each & every time alternate quotes.

Handling purchase requests related to Engineering, Kitchen equipments & operating equipments related products. Handling F & B procurement on as & when required basis.Coordination with Store for the set up of inventory items and stock availability. Worked in all areas of store & Receiving area to learn the activities in detail.Importation & related activities of the requirement related to Hotel Operation. Preparation & Maintenance of various reports related to procurement department.Good in following the P & P and its implementation. Coded the products which are in regular use and this helped us to make the delivery without any delay.
