I come from Bangalore, a city where, in my earliest childhood memories, we drank water from a well. Unfortunately, by the time I started school, the well had dried up. We later got a tap connection, but as I speak to you today, even the tap has dried up, and now we rely on tanker trucks for our water.The world is facing a massive water crisis due to climate change, with industries worldwide bearing some of the most extreme consequences—from financial risks to threats to business continuity.At FluxGen, we believe that the solution to the water crisis lies in water itself. Just as water is clear and transparent, we aim to make water data equally clear and transparent, building solutions on top of that foundation.Leveraging the power of IoT, computer vision, satellite imagery, and GenAI, we’ve helped large corporations reduce their water risks, lowering their water footprint by up to 30% and supporting them on the path to becoming water-positive.To date, we have served over 100 large corporations, including the Tata Group, SKF, Aditya Birla Group, and Microsoft. Additionally, we’ve raised investment from Infosys founders Kris Gopalakrishnan and Shibulal through Axilor Ventures.We’re honored to have received some of the world’s most prestigious awards, including the Microsoft Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact award in Paris, third position at KPMG Global Tech Innovators Competition and we made it to the finals of the L’Oreal Big Bang Beauty Innovation Contest.Our efforts have even caught the attention of leaders, from Microsoft’s Chief Sustainability Officer to India’s Prime Minister Modi, who acknowledged us in his national address.Our vision is to become the global platform of choice for water management. I'm someone who believes that finding the purpose of his or her life is the most important conversation one has to have regularly, and not settle. One of the most exciting parts of this journey is meeting new people, understanding their point of view and appreciating the things you learn in this process. In this journey of finding my purpose, I stepped into the discussion on Sustainability about twelve years (2010) back. The discussion was so consequential that I started a fresh career in Sustainability. The more I worked in the field of Sustainability, I found out how less I know the subject. I started the Sustainability Mafia to learn from the most committed and knowledgeable people in the field of Sustainability and Environmental Protection.
