About Gareth Davies

I have been building web front ends for over ten years now. My primary focus has been on making a website not only good to look at, but easy to use. I think this is my prime motivation in terms of creating products on the web. With the advent of HTML 5, CSS 3 and jQuery, the process of optimising the usability of a website has been given a significant push and it has been my mission to stay on top of these developments so that I can create up-to-the-moment, cutting-edge products. Mobile interfaces have recently also become a passion ofmine and combining the two schools is an area with significant and exciting challenges.I like to focus a lot more on the usability of a piece of software, be it web-based, mobile-based, desktop-based or a combination of all three. This field covers a wide range of development types but all of them need human interaction at some point and this is where my creative and analytic skills would be very effective.I am not the guy who will write the code to make the next Twitter or Facebook function, but the one who will make it easy and intuitive for the intended audience to use it.
