Running a small team of technicians providing 1st line support solutions for one of the university's major campuses. My team are responsible for the implementation and maintenance of all IT equipment including PCs, iMacs, laptops and any other mobile device deployed throughout the university. I am also the relationship holder between the other senior.

After completing a 30 hour internship within the university IT department working on a project to upgrade staff users from exchange to office 365, the mangers of the department created a position for me to help support their first line teams with other ongoing projects over the summer period. This later lead me to be integrated into the first line.

Joining as a Trainee Store Manager at the fast paced, dynamic and customer focused frozen food retailer Iceland, I took the chance to be responsible for the day to day running of multiple individual retail stores taking between £50,000 and £110,000 per week. Myself and my management team were responsible for managing store key performance indicators.

I was responsible for the replenishment of a £350,000/week section (store £1.4M). With 19 staff I needed to make strategic decisions to give the customer what they want, and ensure all fixtures and promotional space was filled to capacity.

As Shrink and Security manager, I was responsible for one of the stores most struggling KPI's. In the first half of the year our store had lost £400k in shrinkage alone, in the remaining 6 months of the year, under my leadership, we only spent £200k, saving the store £200k.I also managed the security side of the business, managing guards, making arrests.

Responsible for the replenishment, sales and service of electrical. I had to build and develop a team of sales experts to advise customers on which product to buy. Also reduced returns rate from 12% down to 8% saving £2,000/week in lost profits.
