I report directly to the Finance Director and together we prepare the monthly management accounts for 5 companies, UK and overseas. * I look after all our German subsidiary's accounting work from the cashbook and Sales and Purchase ledger, right up to their management accounts.* I am responsible for the financial guidance and monitoring the financial procedures of our UK subsidiary.* I contribute financial information and reports to management on a regular basis* I also maintain and submit the payroll for 2 UK companies. Achievements* I've implemented the move from manual cashbooks to Excel cashbooks, written by myself, creating valuable time savings.* I've created a process to automatically reconcile cheques to the bank statement (cheque run normally 200-250 a month).* I've created links between several large inter-dependant spreadsheet reports, reducing duplication of work.
