Yoga Teacher And Explorative Embodiment Guide
CurrentSocrates, Buddha, Lao Tzu and Patanjali (the yoga bloke) all inquired into the art of living. How do we live our lives to experience less pain (dukkha) and more joy (sukha). It is in this vain I approach our yoga class…We embody the principles of yoga philosophy through movement by entering into a somatic self-inquiry of our own nature. We come out of our heads and surrender into our body.We develop awareness around how we organise our body in different movements and postures. We break apart and evaluate our habitual movement patterns (samskaras). We rearrange ourselves into something more easeful and useful for daily life.In this way, yoga can be a process of self-therapy, to help support our selves more appropriately and live with more ease and joy.
