Design, test and qualify new and existing products meeting commercially sensitive deadlines. The manufacture of these products ranges from specifying performance fabrics to producing designs for injection moulding using CAD (SOLIDWORKS).Creating physical prototypes of concepts using 3D printing and traditional model making to inform the product design process.I am well versed in the parametric modelling that is achievable using SOLIDWORKS and will often model products so that they are efficient to modify depending on their design intent. I am also the SOLIDWORKS Product Data Management Administrator (PDM).Often working with world leading electronic companies to produce bespoke solutions to their specific needs. Daily engaging with key stakeholders to establish design/engineering specifications and creating solutions to fulfil end user needs.

Whilst under the employ of Frontier Medical Group, I assisted in the design and testing of new and existing medical products. I had worked on both the Repose range and the newly acquired product line named Toto. These products alleviate the conditions that cause pressure sores.This involved researching, recording, and presenting key data to improve and qualify existing and new designs. This research included critically analyzing the existing product range and interviewing the intended end users to establish opportunities for design intervention.

Designed graphic signage for large format printing and shopfront elevations. This would often involve surveying sites, working with structural engineers and outsourcing the fabrication of structural steel signage.
