Logistics Manager
CurrentPlan, manage and evaluate logistics operations by liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies, and customers;Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies, and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance;Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities;Manage logistics P&L and achieve the target cost;Deliver solutions to logistical problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements;Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers, and report results;Build and maintain partnerships with LSPs for smooth business operationsDeal with logistics sales POCs on reconciliation, billing disputes and settlement casesDevelop, manage and streamline warehouse-logistics operationsKeep a check on volumetric weights of shipments, optimize and reduce packaging cost and average shipment cost;Improve customer delivery experience by control TAT accuracy on deliveriesMaintain up-to-date Pincode database with demographic accurateNegotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers;Manage load distribution to partners with daily verification for cost optimizationEnsure carrier compliance with company policies for product transit and delivery;Resolve queries concerning transportation, logistics systems, in-transit damage, or customer issues;Monitor and reduce the return % by implementing NDR calling systemMonitor, plan and reduce percentage share of delayed shipments;
