About Garima Dave

I am currently pursuing M.S. in Computer Science at USC. I completed my undergraduate studies in June 2022 at Vellore Institute of Technology India in Computer Science and Engineering. My interest lies in Software Engineering, and I love to create robust and performant products with remarkable user experiences.I worked with Optum UnitedHealth Group as a Software Developer Intern for six months, developing a research project based on an automation system for extracting informative entities from a document and enhancing the OCR Engine. Along with implementing Machine Learning, language processing, and open-source models for entity recognition, I also developed an algorithm to provide content to identified entities. I received excellent feedback from my mentors on the same.I have worked on various projects ranging from Software development, Machine learning to Data Science, and Analytics and even on providing functionalities to software by integrating it with others. For my projects, different panelists and faculties applauded me for showcasing excellence and ownership. In addition, I submitted a research paper under the guidance of my professor and am awaiting a response.I like to provide creative solutions to real-world problems in an efficient and optimized manner, and that is what motivates me to contribute to organizations. Therefore, I am looking for Internship roles in Software Engineering.
