When I was moved to this role it was in essence the same directive as the previous role of "Find problems, make solutions" but the only difference was that it was for all the regional financial data. My main focus was still reconciliation tools between multiple third party systems as well as general financial reporting that was lacking in our current internal systems capabilities.

After being promoted to a data analyst position my main focus was finding unique and creative ways to gather data from the 20+ systems used by Airswift as well as their clients. My experience with Excel and Power BI helped in developing systems and KPIs that gave the company insights into areas of improvement and gave concrete numbers during contract negotiations.

I verified the accuracy of invoices, processed them through multiple third party systems, and submitted them to clients for payment. When I was hired as a temp my main project was to reconcile a top 5 account that had fallen into a bad debt scenario due to the two third party systems not communicating. Within a month I was offered a permanent position with thoughts of moving me to a more data-centric role.

FMG Exhaust is a small business with only 4 employees, meaning every employee has to perform many roles. When I began at FMG, it was owned by a husband and wife who had owned it for 30 years. Doing this required me to manage anywhere from 3 to 12 other trainers, maintain constant contact with client leaders and internal management, complete my own training of the accounting departments, and handle any issues that arise. I began here as a service drive helper and created the internal service advisor position. This included working with the new and used car sales managers as well as the fixed ops managers to create policies and procedures to increase throughput of the service department in regards to internal work. This also led to working with customers and warranty work when the need came up.
