In this role, I am responsible for the ongoing planning, delivery, and evaluation of the HRIS platform for Covenant Care/Covenant Living. Working with the organizational Subject Matter experts, I am also responsible for ensuring that the service delivery needs are being met by negotiating appropriate solutions, identifying priorities, performing quality checks and anticipating future needs.

As an HR Project Lead, I am responsible for the coordination, management, and implementation of various projects related to the HR team and the wider organization.

As part of my role as an HR assistant, I use the employee database to input new employees and make changes to their profile. I also coordinate these changes with Payroll and Benefits in an efficient manner. As an assistant I also help facilitate investigations and prepare metric reports. I am also tasked with providing letters of employment and portability. I act as a first point of contact for many employees for questions they have, be they about pay, hours, or policies. I manage the job postings, from initial posting to forwarding candidates to posting removal. Other tasks are given on an as need basis.

I conduct daily spot audits and cash pickups from the registers, as well as assist with the training of new employees in the department. I also work at the customer service desk where I assist customers with issues they may have.

As a site manager and trainer, I was responsible for organizing 100+ kids at camp each week. I would schedule employees, conduct customer service, and communicate with head office on a daily basis. As a manager, I would also conduct payroll on a weekly basis. As a trainer, I was responsible for the training of Alberta's new staff for the company.
