Travel throughout Ontario on behalf of Carleton University. My direct responsibilities included going through the recruitment presentation with tentative students at each of the high schools that I was assigned to. Other responsibilities included attending larger scale events such as University fairs (local and provincial), as well as admissions events and open houses at Carleton.

Experience with the Health Science department at Carleton culminated in a final thesis titled "Macrophage Model System to Investigate the Relationship between Interferon Stimulation and Cellular Metabolism." Gave tours of the Carleton University campus to prospective students and parents. Assisted with recruitment events, including March Break and open houses. Other responsibilities included answering detailed questions about the campus life and experiences. Overall, the position was to not only create a lasting impression for those visiting but to also serve as a student ambassador on behalf of the university.

Chosen from the Parks Canada Youth Ambassador application pool, myself along with one other individual were assigned to work in the National Office of Parks Canada and help to develop youth awareness of Parks Canada sites. Working closely with staff in External relations, responsibilities included running the Parks Canada Youth Ambassador Facebook and twitter pages, creating social media content, and collaborating to further build the Parks Canada Campus Clubs brand.
