CurrentI teach Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Divemaster, ReActivate, and specialty classes in both confined and open water. I inspect the BMPs, and write a report which is sent to a site contact, in addition to calling them to ensure they are informed and provide suggestions and solutions to any violations. I also work independently to create SWPPPs for construction sites, including pulling documents and ensuring books are created properly. Additionally, I use Adobe Photoshop to create Best Management Practice (BMP) maps, and have been helping the company start and expand its usage of ESRI's ArcGIS Online program.
Instructor
I instructed Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Divemaster, and Specialty courses of varying sizes and with students of varying ages. I demonstrated responsible diving techniques to divers of varying skill levels while ensuring their and my safety. Scene Shop Technician
I read, interpreted, and executed design plans for the construction of sets in teams of varying sizes and across multiple departments. I ensured sets were constructed to plan, and made sure they were safe for actors and functional. I used various power tools for this construction, including circular saws, table saws, jigsaws, drills, and electric sanders.
Kayak Instructor
I instructed campers aged 8-15 on proper kayaking techniques, and led trips in the local area while ensuring the safety of campers from summer storms, boats, the sun, and dehydration. I piloted a 13-foot Boston Whaler while doing so, and maneuvered it around campers and in a variety of conditions from calm water to 1-3 foot rolling seas. I coordinated with other instructors and the main camp about daily plans, weather, and locations for activities. I also maintained and repaired equipment broken during camp including kayak handles, eyelets, and tow strings.

I demonstrated safe diving techniques to both students and certified divers. I taught Discover Scuba Dive lessons, and assisted with the planning and teaching of Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and Rescue Diver classes, working closely with an Instructor. I guided divers of varying experience levels while showing local flora and fauna and ensuring both their and my safety. I gauged public interest in diving, and assisted with the sale of equipment up to $1000.
Lifeguard
I ensured guests were safe and complied with all posted pool rules. I checked for guest registration, and assisted any new guests with registering for a membership. I also kept pool facilities were up to current health standards by cleaning the pool, adjusting chlorine levels, and checking that all equipment was functional.
