Natural resources professional with a technical background in GIS and Remote Sensing and a focus on applying nature-based solutions to mitigate disturbances relating to climate variability. I apply a solutions-focused approach with my skills in interpersonal communication, grant writing, project management, data integration, and adaptive management. My experience includes National Lab research focused on global fire and climate variability and extends to working with Native American Tribes to develop a coalition of federal, state, and non-governmental partners to develop water security and forest resilience. By integrating Nature-based Solutions and Indigenous Knowledge, I've catalyzed efforts that work to maximize ecosystem services, prioritize cultural values, and provide a nationally recognized model for developing resilience in watersheds impacted by severe wildfires and flooding.
