- As a member of a highly performing production team, required to perform multiple duties ad hoc including business development, sizing, processing, underwriting, closing, and asset managing loans through Greystone’s Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, Bridge, and Alternative Structured Capital programs.- Upon receipt of new opportunities, provided a full loan sizing that entails detailed analysis of sponsorship, business plans, financial statements and models, property-level contracts, markets, and other relevant details on a deal-by-deal basis. - During the process of sizing; structured, priced, and provided competitive and achievable quotes to clients. Preparing detailed memos and written correspondence for internal distribution and various application approvals.- Once under application, driving the day-to-day management of the deal through closing. This required acting as a key liaison between clients, 3rd parties, legal teams, and the Greystone credit team, where I assisted as an additional underwriter and other required duties ad hoc. In this role it covered the collection, review and analysis, and processing of key credit and legal due diligence, 3rd-party reports, and closing statements. - Actively working with top originators in a high-volume environment to support and manage existing relationship with direct clients and mortgage bankers. Performed with limited oversight under a high-volume production environment.- In a lead role, closed over 20 deals totaling $500+MM during time on the production team.

- Closed 50+ deals for a total volume of $1.07bn. An integral part in the growth of the National Originations platform that closed $3.90+bn and $3.50+bn in 2021 and 2022, respectively. - Credit analysis and structuring of all new loan submissions to the firm’s sales team. This predominantly entailed bridge loan opportunities, in addition to agency, fixed-rate, SBA, note-on-note, and construction loan requests. General asset classes covered include multifamily, industrial, office, retail, self-storage, student housing, senior housing, hospitality, and land. Numerous specialized subcategories of the general asset classes are covered. - Analysis entails vetting of business plans, detailed financial models, operating statements, submarket/MSA locations, sponsorship background and experience, and all remaining credit due diligence. Utilize information to prepare detailed cash flow models, market analysis, risk assessments, and valuations within a credit memorandum that informs Ready Capital’s investment decisions.- Priced and structured the terms of each loan to achieve the most optimal returns for Ready Capital while ensuring the deal execution with clients. Negotiated all deals with clients through the quote and term sheet stages of the process.- Performing with limited oversight under a very high production environment that required quick and efficient decision making and organization. Have reviewed 1,000+ deals through various points in the deal cycle.- Have led several special projects that have increased team performance, strengthened existing client relationships, developed new client relationships and avenues of deal flow for the company, and improved internal business functions and processes.

- Structure, capitalize, and close new acquisitions, debt restructuring, and JV investment opportunities for the company’s $1.0+bn portfolio.- Create new underwriting models in addition to maintaining and updating exiting underwriting models to reflect investment performances, changes in the market environment and to monitor/manage transaction progress of the company’s portfolio.- Manage multiple projects for asset management and construction management that requires business plan development and optimization, budgeting, coordination, and exit strategy planning and execution.- Prepare property acquisition briefs for presentation to the Investment Committee, including concise narrative, graphic charts and financial analysis.- Prepare thorough and detailed investment memoranda for both internal and external use.- Manage existing Delshah relationships with JV partners, lenders and brokers regarding acquisitions, refinances, recapitalizations and dispositions.

- Underwrite and asset manage Arbor’s CRE bridge, mezzanine and preferred equity lending platform. Role comprises detailed financial analysis, risk assessment, sensitivity analysis, borrower assessment, market analysis, and real estate collateral valuation. Closed over $700 million in new loans across multiple asset classes including multifamily, mixed-use, office, retail, hotel, student housing, and senior housing.- Screen all new loan opportunities, which includes business plans analysis, loan pricing, and assisting in the preparation of term-sheet with borrowers and brokers prior to the loan-underwriting period.- Perform detailed due diligence during the loan review period including on-site property inspections and the review and acceptance of financial statements, business plans, budgets, appraisals, property engineering & environmental reports, zoning reports, and insurance policies.- Prepare concise and detailed investment memorandum for credit committee on every loan opportunity. Furthermore, participate in the securitizing all new loans by providing concise and strong investment memorandum to rating agencies for bond ratings.
