Chief Of Finance And Operations
As the Chief of Finance I manage all of the organizations financial matters from the annual budget to forecasting for the organization and its projects. I helped grow the annual budget from $500k to over $3.5mm. I oversee our accounting processes, cashflow projections, invoicing, tax filings and reporting. I lead on grant writing and proposal budgeting and manage our philanthropic giving portfolio. As Chief of Operations I collaboratively manage the development of internal systems with our team, assess staff time and project resource allocation while managing HR and Benefits development. I lead on proposal development and contracting, compliance and all necessary coverages to allow us to do the innovative work we do. I have the privilege of serving on a diverse team with many lived experiences and sectors of work. We are striving to establish an organization based on restorative justice principals to support one another in accomplishing the organizational mission. I am still able to facilitate, manage project work with the Pop-Up Village, and surround myself with amazing people working to change the narrative of what it means to collaborate for change.
