I have a gift for communication and a passion for storytelling. I’ve been fortunate to be able to draw on these strengths throughout my professional life, whether as Story Editor at Walt Disney Feature Animation, as a literary manager developing new talent at Will Entertainment or in my most recent role at Disney store.I evolved my Disney store role over time, from something strictly operational to a position that managed the strategy and content for all-employee communication and employee engagement programs. It was the expectation of the business leaders that the communication and programs would be of the highest quality and be delivered with the requisite storytelling to motivate and inspire … and they were. “Legendary,” in fact, in the words of one VP. While the chapters in my professional career may not have been the most linear, they are grounded in core fundamentals: communicating smartly, storytelling with purpose, learning quickly, delivering best-in-class product and ensuring that priorities of the business are supported.What am I looking for in my next chapter? The opportunity to build on my established skill set to deliver a holistic and impactful internal communication program that adds value AND fun, increases engagement and drives business.
