 Determine bookings and Sales budget targets for Service, consistent with meeting Pacific Sales targets Ensure effective service Sales strategies, resourcing, capabilities and tactical plans are in place to support Sales and profitability targets. This included training on how to sell service across the business units. Manage and control all operating costs in the region to ensure the P & L objectives are achieved. Including margin and price management. Ensure accurate and relevant reporting on a monthly basis and monitor results frequently to make adjustments as required Monitor competitor activities pro-actively and also monitor upcoming opportunities and projects in the industry to identify new selling opportunities. Identification and monitoring of market trends, opportunities, threats in the market and share with Global Mining management along with making recommendations to meet challenges in the region Development and implementation of promotional plans and activities. Responsible for growing the Service Revenue through the Sales organisation and through the dedicated Service network. Assist in development of business plans for Service Centers expansion/rationalisation in conjunction with Operations, based on Sales growth opportunities. Long-term strategic planning. expansion plans, channel partner plans.  Assist in development and implementation of common policies and procedures, leveraging common tools, and managing global intellectual property effectively Develop training tools for the Sales force, developing added value solution proposals Accountable for Service revenues, cost of service provision and customer satisfaction  Carry out regular communication with Sales staff in the region to ensure strong team work, alignment between individual targets and focus with regional and Pacific business objectives Direct and support all day to day Sales activity in the Regional offices.
