Responsible for the Northeast territory of PA, NJ, DE, MD, N VA, S NYS and NYC – Long Island. Selling Safety and Industrial products to distributors within a 15 million dollar territory. Work closely with business owners on converting business from direct to wholesale utilizing balance sheet data. Work to leverage warehouse locations and stocking requirements to fulfill demand, negotiate product and brand price agreements with manufacturers. Maintain communication with manufactures, schedule new product orientations with distributors, train and motivate distributor sales representatives on share of wallet techniques.

Working through distribution selling direct to key end-users in both the private and public sectors. Job duties include: Identifying and signing new distributors to sell Powered-Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) and Escape Hoods; Train, motivate and leverage distribution sales representatives; direct contact with key end users; Perform product demonstrations and training; further penetrate existing markets and develop new markets for ILC Dover PPE products. Created and implemented sales and marketing programs for markets that include Hospital Infection Control, Emergency Preparedness - Decon, Fire Department EMT and Haz-Mat, Homeland Security, Military, UASI, MMRS, OEM, VA Medical Centers, Local and State Police, Oil Refinery & Petro-Chemical, Corporate Preparedness, Pharmaceutical and Laboratory BSL3.

To train, motivate and leverage distributor sales reresentatives to further penetrate existing markets and develope new markets for ILC Dover products. Created and implemented sales & marketing programs for markets that include Emergency Preparedness - Decontamination, Fire Department - EMT & Haz-Mat, Homeland Security, Military, UASI, MMRS, VA Medical Centers, State & Local Police, Oil Refinery, Petrochemical, Corporate Preparedness, Laboratory and BSL3 Environments.

Responsible for the New York / New Jersey Metropolitan area sales territory. Safety equipment product line includes over 20,000 safety products and supplies from over 250 manufacturers. Grew territory sales by introducing, demonstrating and training end users on web based e-commerce capabilities and e-learning training programs for the pharmaceutical, industrial, university and biotech industries. Initiated national and regional sales with construction contractors selling fall protection, gas detection and general PPE. Utilized representatives of key suppliers to help generate technical compliance specifications that resulted in over $900,000 in new business. Strong focus on National Accounts with multi-state locations, regional stocking requirements and specific logistics. Specialized in Homeland Security working with the Ground Zero Military, Police and Fire. Developed strong relationships with the NYPD, FDNY, OEM and all area hospitals. Provided technical assistance along with sales of decontamination equipment, portable and fixed gas detection systems, WMD and Bio-Terrorism protection and all other areas of PPE. Strong understanding of customer requirements for efficient product stocking, delivery and overall logistics.
