The Kernel needed to be message based and interrupt driven to enable it to be used with a wide variety of different user input devices. The kernel was written exclusively in assembly language to ensure fast and effective task switching. Produce a tool for downloading customer specific application tasks into the standard operating system. Produce the CCITT No. 7, (Levels 3 & 2), software. All the above software was written in 'C' and 68000 series assembler, on a UNIX based Plexus machine.
