The Kernel needed to be message based and interrupt driven to enable it to be used with a wide variety of different user input devices. The kernel was written exclusively in assembly language to ensure fast and effective task switching. The kernel was primarily written for the ESX 386 Intel real time processor, but the design was purely generic so that it could be used for future chipsets.SME/CSA role to design and produce a Linker Application to select the required Generic, and Customer Specific, DLL Modules, and produce a single non-relocatable image that could be downloaded to target hardware.SME role to produce the customer specific ticketing software for an overseas client in Canberra.
