While being responsible for the operations of Noel Leeming Group we were able to exit from private equity and sell to the largest non food retailer in New Zealand - The Warehouse Group. I was responsible for store operations of 4 retail brands - Noel Leeming, Torpedo 7, Lifestyle Appliances and Clearance Centres. Including supporting operational functions being the Commercial and Insurance Divisions, National Distribution Centers, Contact Centres, Operations Support and Store Development teams. Some successes include merging 100 year old business Bond and Bond with Noel Leeming. Re-branding Noel Leeming. Introducing the career retail wage. Winning the most improved work place in NZ IBM/Konexa award all whilst positioning our brand comfortably as market leaders in NZ.

Whilst our lead team were responsible for Interflora UK and Ireland we worked closely with American owners FTD to ensure best practice between the UK and US.I was responsible for delivering and implementing the retail strategy for the business to ensure maximised revenue and profits across 1800 retail stores. My direct reports consisted of a Retail Marketing team, National Sales Team, Business development Manager and Retails Support team. Some successes were in creating store operational support tools which maximised customer experience and ensured improved profits for florists and Interflora alike.
