Scanalyse was an innovative and award-winning company that provided niche condition monitoring and metallurgical services to the mining industry using its own MillMapperTM and CrusherMapperTM technology. I was with Scanalyse since the company’s official launch and intimate in the development of the technology, both in functionality and Quality Control. As the company grew, so did my responsibility, from sole data collector and processor to department manager. The Department of Spatial Sciences at Curtin University is world renowned for its research in Surveying, Remote Sensing, GIS and Geodesy. I was employed immediately after completing my Bachelor of Surveying as a Research Associate and partook in the research activities of the department, in particular 3D laser scanning.
