Provide world class software support for the MiTek Sapphire design suite, with a focus on wall panel design. In this role, I provide exemplary customer technical support to design staff and engineers, as well as production facility staff in designing advanced components, nationwide. With my extensive background in IT, software customer support and component building methods, I cover all regions in the continental US, supporting and advising Component Manufacturers in many diverse construction and design methods. I provide extensive training for panel designers from entry level to expert. In many cases, I have led the conversion of customers from competitor’s software to the MiTek platform, integrating the design software (Structure) with many other suite offerings, such as Management. I work very closely with our documentation team to provide the best possible supporting documents and training resources in the industry. Widely acknowledged as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for wall panels and design, I provide third tier support to all of MiTek’s Technical Support department, globally.

When I originally joined the Truswal family, I was tasked with supporting their software suite. This included thier truss engineering and wall panel design software. After ITW purchased Truswal, then Alpine, I went on to support the entire software suites of both companies. Given my extensive IT background, and my even more extensive engineering and design background, I am able to provide a unique blend of perspectives and knowledge of the industry. Given that there are very few designers with experience in wall panel design and construction, I can provide very specialized insight. Additionally, I can still provide the stellar truss engineering support that is expected from a national supplier. As a software consultant, I must be a self starter, time manager, software developer, programmer, and tester. I must have a broad spectrum of specialized skills, from customer support to programming capabilities to engineering knowledge to current construction methods. I currently cover a region of 13 states. I often support accounts outside of my immediate region, due to my unique and specialized insight into the component industry. My primary goal and objective with Truswood was to develop the wall panel division of the company. This included design, marketing, and production managment. I frequently met directly with builders, customers, developers and architechs to foster relationships where wall panel businees might be developed. In addition to creating the website for Truswood, I produced DVDs profiling the building process utilizing wall panels. I marketed these DVDs to potential customers within the shipping region. I also supervised numerous construction crews using the wall panel products our company produced. I taught the crews of our customers the best methods of erecting panelized structures. In the first 6 months that I was with Truswood, I increased the wall panel business by 30%, after 1 year by another 22%. While at Deltec, I wore many different hats. I started off in the drafting department, then went on to become a Project Manager, then Drafting department manager, and eventually moved into the engineering department, while also taking on the roll of the IT Manger. While in the engineering department I help develop several new building designs that Deltec eventually marketed. Develpment of Four Leaf Homes and the Cresent Chalet (See link below)were just a couple of the structural concepts that I pioneered for Deltec. I also help develop a custom panelized housing division of Deltec. While in this role, I designed and supervised the erection of the panelized buildings. Midway through my time with Deltec Homes, the company relocated to a new factility. I supervised the remodelling of the new facitlity. I also built the new computer, phone, and security network from the ground up personally.
