Then family business for a long stretch - contract cleaning, lots of staff, lots of headaches, but lots of lessons, too. Bought a fynbos farm near Hermanus - kept it for 15 years, worked flowers and guests, built a pottery studio, kilns, from scratch. Moved to Paarl, Claremont, Kenilworth, Observatory, Riebeek Kasteel (present). Enjoy moving house. Been a potter for over 15 years, working in all sorts of clay, functional and decorative pots, all firing processes, oxidation, reduction, raku.Specialize in unusual pots, lidded pots and large pots.Work can be seen in various galleries as well as the bi-annual potter's market in Rondebosch.
