I have recently joined Barnes & Partners to undertake a new and challenging role, which will see me undertake to develop the case-load of the dispute resolution department in this well established firm, based in Enfield Town.

I managed the firm's dispute resolution department, conducting a range of matters.I advised and assisted on matters arising out of both commercial and residential leasehold covenants. Advising on issues such as breaches of repairing covenants and disputes where parties had requested landlord's consent. Also advised in relation to issues arising out of the provisions of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985 and the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002.I also advised in relation to the initial applications for landlord's consent, in order to be able to provide the client with continuity of advice if the application became disputed.In addition, I continued to advise on a range of other commercial and civil disputes in the County Court, High Court and Tribunals.

I was a solicitor in the litigation department. I conducted a range of disputes from commmercial property to contentious probate also including contract and tort. I also had experience in a range of other actions, including actions arising out of the Education Act 1996 and the Mental Health Act 1983. I regularly took instructions in relation to claims arising out of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954. I had conduct of matters arising out of the Housing Act 1988.
