I am a formally trained and ambitious Lighting Designer, Technician, Salesperson and Project Manager in the Event Production Industry in Houston, Texas. My Education was in Technical Theater where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theater from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. While at SMU, I was trained with a keen eye for concept that carries well into my professional life. Like many in the Arts who enjoy the challenge of a fresh production, I usually reply "Yes" and then ask for more details along the way. It's an accommodation I've become comfortable with as we often times are ask to help Clients realize their visions when perhaps they are not sure themselves. Through conversations, rough sketches and now, ever present Social Media, we find a way to communicate. That's the sweetness of our reality!!

Hospitality ServicesCirque Du Soleil Feb 2004 - Mar 2004Working with the Cirque du Soleil Organization was an extremely rewarding experience. As Hospitality Services representatives, we were directly in charge with customer service tasks, preparing the 2500 seat tent for Guest's entry and performances on strict scheduling guidelines. The interaction with the public was more challenging that standing on one hand while eating popcorn!! -

There were 2 cycling productions in repetory as well as additional private funtions in each performance hall of the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts. Broadway veteran Lighting Designer Ken Billington was LD for both productions, Mozart's La Rondine and Puccini's Turandot.
