Primary duties included managing the Commercial Banking Group and dotted line authority with other business lines serving the region. The primary goal for Park Sterling executive management in Charlotte was to take advantage of the additional market and the significant performance gains provided through the First Capital acquisition and to sell the Bank quickly to a larger regional bank. I stayed with the company through the systems conversion and through settling our remaining leagacy First Capital teammates into their new positions. Park Sterling sold to South State Bank of Columbia, SC several months later. -
