PLP has two factories in the US, and many others world wide that make many different products for the overhead and under ground electrical power industry and also makes products for over head and under ground telecommunications industry. I was the lead mechanic/electrician over second and third shifts with a crew of 8 employees. I work second shift but our shifts over lap 2 1/2 hrs. So I could assign work and assist third shift a little before I went home. I was responsible for all general and technical maintenance on both shifts.
