I managed Braintree’s SDK team and was responsible for the developer-facing front door to Braintree’s payments processing. The SDK team develops, maintains, and supports the entirety of Braintree’s developer experience. This encompasses Braintree's client SDKs (JavaScript, iOS, and Android), backend SDKs (many server-side languages), and related APIs, services, and documentation. The SDKs service billions of user sessions per month, powering customers' payments from small businesses to large enterprises.Primary Responsibilities- Managed 15+ engineers and multiple teams spanning several technology stacks.- Directly managed engineers and tech leads to set expectations, give feedback, evaluate performance, and advance goals and careers.- Set technical and product direction, define priorities and roadmaps, and manage requests from internal teams and external customers.
