I have 15+ years of multi-perspective teaching experience, including the last 2 as a classroom teacher. Although I have worked in public schools (through student teaching, substitute teaching, and as Therapeutic Support Staff), my experience has primarily been with a variety of non-profits. At heart, I am a planner. I love thinking about problems and possible outcomes, and enjoy teaching in a similar style. A unique problem activates something inside of us that pushes us to overcome. Along the way students find they are ill-equipped, causing them to seek out the knowledge and skills you have to teach them. All of my teaching experience has been fulfilling, but my last 2 as a classroom teacher have been the most enjoyable. Watching high school students go from indifferent to enamored has made this a special time in my life.
