- Lead engagement partner for a RegTech project that uses blockchain-based technology to develop a Know-Your-Customer (“KYC”) Shared Ledger proof of concept for Individual and Corporate clients.- Assisted various foreign financial institutions including banks, securities and fund management companies in their business strategy and licence applications with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”).- Performed various strategy reviews of financial institutions where he had assisted to assess the feasibility of various set-up options which the financial institution may consider in establishing operations in Singapore.- Assessed the adequacy and effectiveness of clients' risk and control frameworks including policies, procedures and controls; Ensured that these were in line with MAS’ requirements and expectations.- Appointed lead partner for several internal controls reviews of banks and Capital Markets Services Licence holders.- Led several Cyber Security Incident Response projects in the financial sector with respect to investigation, containment, remediation and cyber security and regulatory strategy.- Spearheaded teams in numerous FATCA engagements for financial institutions in Singapore and in ASEAN - including being the regional engagement partner for a top-tier Australian bank’s implementation of FATCA plan to its ASEAN subsidiaries.
