Process Capability Team Leader Diageo International Supply Centre Scotland Sept 2015 to July 2017Key Responsibilities• Overseeing a team of 8 Process Capability Technicians supporting the bottling operations throughout the plant from incoming materials through to outgoing finished product.• Leading the team in a proactive role with responsibility to drive & facilitate line performance improvement projects & production initiatives, as well as supporting the integration of the wider business objectives namely brand change, product development, changes of supplier and cost of goods. • Through risk assessments, line studies and problem solving techniques (paying particular attention to the interfaces between machine, man, material & method along with the use of various other Manufacturing Excellence/Lean tools & best practices .• Ensuring the main focus being to improve the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) & Quality performance, ensuring rigorous analysis, testing and operational line trialling of all new components while complying with the Governance responsibilities of (H&S, HMRC, CARM, Quality and Environment).

• Managing the production of 90,000 tonnes of high quality coated board with a department of 44 production staff working in smaller teams on a continuous 5 shift operational basis. Overall responsibility for safety, quality and all aspects of the production process.

Secondment to a multi-million pound IT project as phase 1 Project Team Leader which would see a completely new information system from sales order entry, through production planning, manufacture and conversion, tracking work in progresses to warehousing and dispatch
