  In 1971, Gary Coman was employed by Dunlop Australia who had recently started their Sheridan Textiles division. He was initially employed as a Sales Representative and went on to learn every facet of weaving, printing and marketing strategies in this industry. He was involved with the company for 12 years in various managerial positions and after an absence of 18 months managing another National textile company, he was then offered the distributorship of the Sheridan product range within Queensland and New South Wales for another 16 years. It was during this period in his career, the HotelHome brand was also born and his company then changed direction and went on to develop Australia's largest range of commercial textiles and luxury bedding accessories under the HotelHome Australia banner. HotelHome now caters for all Accommodation textiles catering for Mining, Trains, Airlines and Luxury Ships, to Australia's leading Hotels and Resorts.
